CertifyOS is hiring its first internal General Counsel to architect its global legal infrastructure during a hyper-growth phase. Reporting directly to the SVP of Finance, the selected candidate will transition legal operations from an outsourced model to a high-performing internal function, managing the complexities of both US and India-based operations.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of legal data, contract repositories, and ongoing matters from external vendors to internal systems.
• Draft and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, and Data Use Agreements tailored to US HealthTech and SaaS standards.
• Design and implement internal controls and SOPs satisfying both US healthcare regulations and Indian corporate compliance.
• Manage local and international legal vendors.

Requirements:

• LLB/LLM with 8–12 years of progressive legal experience in high-growth technology environments.
• Proven experience transitioning a company from an outsourced legal model to an internal team.
• Expert-level knowledge of US commercial law, SaaS revenue models, and usage-based contracts.
• Direct experience working for an Indian subsidiary of a US-headquartered company.
• Ability and willingness to work 100% overlap with US business hours.
