The programme is designed to acquaint students with the functioning of NALSA, specifically its role in providing free legal services to the weaker sections of society and organizing Lok Adalats for amicable dispute resolution. Interns will gain hands-on experience in various specialized areas of legal services, promoting the core objective of access to justice. The internship follows a structured four-week schedule starting on the first day of each month. It includes an orientation session, the study of NALSA’s schemes and statistical reports, and extensive field visits lasting approximately ten days. These visits cover the Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA), District Legal Services Authorities (DLSA), the Supreme Court Library, and various mediation centers. This is a full-time, physical internship requiring absolute discipline and a formal black-and-white dress code. Participants are expected to bring their own laptops and handle their own local travel and accommodation. A certificate of completion is awarded to those who maintain at least 90% attendance. Eligibility: * Students pursuing a Three-Year LL.B. Course or a Five-Year Integrated Law Course from any recognized University/College/Institution. * Preference is given to students in their 3rd to 5th year of the Five-Year Integrated Law Course. * Preference is given to students in their 2nd to 3rd year of the Three-Year LL.B.
