Contextual Overview

Achuman Capital is acting on behalf of a market-leading international law firm to recruit a junior Associate Solicitor for their Contentious Construction team in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will join a globally ranked Construction & Engineering practice advising on high-value regional projects.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Experience: NQ-4 PQE with a strong background in projects, construction, and/or infrastructure work.
• Skills: Outstanding academic credentials, technical excellence, strong negotiation skills, and commercial awareness.
• Attributes: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a willingness to participate in business development initiatives.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Engage in all contentious aspects of the global construction industry across the GCC.
• Advise clients on every stage of the project lifecycle, from contract negotiation and project delivery to dispute resolution.
• Manage dispute proceedings including arbitration, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
• Handle diverse matters within the energy and utilities, healthcare, transport infrastructure, and real estate sectors.
• Manage client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Compensation: Excellent salary package commensurate with experience, supplemented by a generous benefits package and hybrid working arrangements.
