Allcargo Global is seeking an experienced In-House Counsel based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. This role involves managing real estate legal matters, property due diligence, title searches, and related litigations within the TransIndia legal team.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Qualified as a lawyer in India with strong academic credentials.
- Possess an LLB or LLM degree from a reputed university.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within a real estate company.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in Marathi.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Conducting title searches and comprehensive property due diligence.
- Coordinating with lawyers and government offices, including sub-registrar, talathi, and tehsildar offices.
- Drafting and reviewing construction contracts, sale deeds, lease deeds, and leave & license agreements.
- Handling registration of property agreements and managing real estate-related litigation.
- Maintaining property and real estate records while managing relationships with external legal consultants.
