Contextual Overview

Anirudh Associates is hiring an Associate for their Bengaluru office to focus on Corporate and Commercial Litigation. The role involves extensive practice before Trial courts, with a specific emphasis on the Commercial Courts Act, IBC, and Arbitration.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Experience: 1.5 years (18 months) PQE as a practicing lawyer before Trial courts at Bangalore.
• Technical Skills: Demonstrated knowledge or expertise in the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) or Civil Procedure Code (CPC).
• Language: Candidates proficient in Kannada are preferred.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Independently research and draft notices, plaints, and petitions.
• Manage litigation workflows, including coordination with clients and junior staff.
• Represent the firm before District Courts, Commercial Courts, and Arbitration Tribunals.
• Assist senior counsel during evidence and argument stages.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

CTC: ₹4,00,000 – ₹7,00,000 per annum (based on candidate profile). A performance-based incentive model is introduced after completion of one year. The role includes a 3-month probation period.
