Lead Research Engineer, Research Administration Support, IAIC (Contracts Manager – Research Grants & Agreements)

Contextual Overview

A*STAR – Agency for Science, Technology and Research is hiring a Lead Research Engineer (Contracts Manager – Research Grants & Agreements) to support research grant administration, contract governance and digitalisation initiatives.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Science, Engineering or related field.
• Relevant experience in contract management, grant administration, research management or project administration.
• Familiarity with research grant terms and conditions is preferred.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Review and manage grant terms, funding agreements, collaboration agreements, NDAs and related contracts.
• Liaise with researchers, funding agencies, legal counsel and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate contract records; support reporting, analytics and digitalisation initiatives.
• Drive continuous‑improvement of contract‑management processes.
• Assist the Confidential Compliance Manager in governance of Confidential Information, including audits and awareness programmes.
