Axiom is seeking a Capital Markets Lawyer to provide high-calibre on-demand legal services to clients across financial institutions, investment banks, and other organizations in London, England, United Kingdom.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualified lawyer eligible to practise in the UK, or an equivalent overseas qualification with relevant UK capital-markets experience.
• Must possess the legal right to work in the UK.
• Experience advising on one or more capital markets areas, including debt capital markets, equity capital markets, equity-linked products, securities offerings, listed-company matters, or corporate finance.
• Experience gained in private practice, in-house, on secondment, or within an investment bank, financial institution, broker-dealer, or issuer.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice on capital markets matters, including debt, equity, and equity-linked transactions, securities offerings, financings, and listed-company matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate capital-markets documentation such as offering documents, prospectuses, underwriting agreements, purchase agreements, and disclosure materials.
• Support transactions throughout their lifecycle, covering structuring, due diligence, disclosure, documentation, execution, closing, and post-transaction requirements.
• Collaborate closely with legal teams, bankers, issuers, finance, compliance, business stakeholders, and external counsel.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Compensation: Highly competitive compensation and benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace, including health benefits and pension. Options for employee or consultancy working models are available.

Work Mode: Remote, onsite, or hybrid, depending on client requirements.
