Contextual Overview
BDO India is seeking a senior legal professional to join their in-house Contracts Team in Mumbai. This role focuses on managing the full lifecycle of commercial contracts, driving process excellence, and leading a team to support the firm's evolving business needs across various service lines.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Degree: LLB (Mandatory); CS or LLM (Preferred).
- Experience: 10-15 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
- Skills: Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including SAAS, MSAs, NDAs, and Joint Venture agreements.
- Create and maintain standard contract templates and SOPs.
- Manage internal stakeholder requirements and provide guidance on data protection and insurance.
- Build, train, and mentor a team of junior legal professionals.
- Integrate AI tools for contract management and process optimization.
