BM Morrison Partners is seeking a full-time Compliance Officer to join its team based in Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), Dubai. The role focuses on managing regulatory compliance, AML/CFT frameworks, KYC procedures, and corporate governance within the firm.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles within a regulated industry.
- Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or CRCM are considered an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of UAE Central Bank regulations, DFSA Rulebook, and financial crime regulations.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Act as the primary compliance contact with the regulator, managing engagement, notifications, reporting, and inspections.
- Lead the AML/CFT framework including customer due diligence, sanctions screening, and suspicious activity reporting.
- Enhance the firm's compliance framework, policies, procedures, and governance documentation.
- Provide practical compliance advice to front-office teams on corporate banking, trade finance, and lending activities.
- Oversee client onboarding and periodic reviews across institutional and high-risk client segments.
