This role focuses on managing licensed entities under the Securities and Futures Act (SFA) and the Payment Services Act (PSA), ensuring adherence to MAS regulations, and overseeing AML/CFT frameworks.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelorโs degree in Law, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in compliance within payment institutions, capital markets, banks, or fintech.
- Deep working knowledge of Singaporeโs financial regulatory framework (PSA 2019, SFA 2001, MAS AML/CFT Notices).
- Proven track record of direct engagement with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regarding licensing and supervisory reviews.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Lead Singapore compliance coverage for CMS and MPI licensed entities.
- Execute regulatory licensing strategies and manage ongoing MAS supervisory engagements.
- Design and maintain a risk-based compliance framework aligned with global standards.
- Oversee the Singapore AML/CFT program (MAS Notice 626/824).
- Provide regulatory guidance for product expansion and cross-border initiatives.
- Manage third-party and outsourcing risk in compliance with MAS expectations.
