Drew & Napier LLC is hiring a Patent Executive (Malaysia) for a full-time, entry-level position in Singapore. This role focuses on the filing and prosecution of design and patent matters within the Malaysian jurisdiction.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Biology, or LLB.
• Minimum two years of related experience is preferred, but entry-level candidates with a strong interest in developing a career in the legal field are welcome to apply.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and IT-savvy.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Filing and prosecution of design matters.
• Coordination and supervision of the filing and prosecution of Malaysia patent applications, including review of official reports.
• Calculating, docketing, and monitoring deadlines.
• Advising clients on strategies and courses of action available.
• Assisting management with other matters/projects as required.
