eDreams ODIGEO, the world's leading travel subscription platform, is seeking a qualified Legal Counsel to join its Business Legal team in Barcelona. Operating on a hybrid work model, the role centers on consumer law across major European jurisdictions including Spain, Germany, France, Italy, and the UK, supporting renowned travel brands such as eDreams, GO Voyages, Opodo, Travellink, and Liligo.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Degree in Law with active qualification to practice law in a European jurisdiction (preferably Spain, Germany, France, or the UK).
• Minimum of 5+ years of professional legal experience, combining private practice and in-house experience with a strong consumer law focus.
• Demonstrated strong knowledge of consumer law, particularly within the digital sector.
• Fluent in English (working language); native or professional proficiency in an additional European language (Spanish, German, French, or Italian) is a strong preference.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Advise on current consumer law and its application across websites, products, content, and services, including travel subscription programs.
• Draft, update, and maintain terms and conditions for websites, apps, products, and services.
• Manage administrative processes and dialogues with public administrations and consumer protection authorities across key European jurisdictions.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and business teams to seamlessly incorporate legal frameworks into daily operations.
• Conduct horizon-scanning for upcoming regulatory changes and assist in organizational implementation.
• Manage outside legal counsel within designated budget allowances and contribute to the internal precedent bank.
