Empower India is seeking a Senior Analyst Privacy Compliance for a full-time role based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The position supports the development, implementation, and ongoing effectiveness of the organization’s Privacy Compliance Program within the financial services sector.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in legal, compliance, regulatory, privacy, or related matters.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a regulated financial-services or securities environment; professional privacy/compliance certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPM, or CRCM.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Participate in privacy compliance initiatives, projects, and program enhancements.
• Draft and maintain corporate privacy policies, procedures, and consumer privacy notices.
• Support privacy and data-security incident response activities, monitoring, testing, issues management, training, and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to federal and state privacy/data-security laws including GLBA, FCRA, TCPA, CAN-SPAM, HIPAA, SEC, and FINRA requirements.
• Enhance and maintain organizational privacy risk assessments and collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage compliance risk.
