Group Legal Counsel

Contextual Overview

Ericsson is seeking an experienced Group Legal Counsel to join its Group Function Legal Affairs and Compliance (GFLA) organization based in Casablanca, Morocco. The role involves collaborating with a global network of legal professionals to support business operations and innovation initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Master of Law (LL.M., JD, or equivalent legal qualification).
• Qualification to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction.
• 7 – 10+ years of legal experience, preferably within a multinational corporation or leading law firm.
• Strong expertise in commercial contracts, regulatory matters, and corporate governance.
• Fluency in French and Arabic required; English proficiency required.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Serve as a trusted legal advisor to senior business leaders, providing strategic legal guidance supporting commercial objectives.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including customer contracts and supplier agreements.
• Provide legal advice on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, competition law, data protection, and intellectual property matters.
• Support high-value transactions, manage disputes, investigations, and litigation matters.
• Deliver legal training to business teams and contribute to the development of global legal policies and frameworks.
