Officer, Collections – First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Key Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the banking sector

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Coordinate with law firms for new cases (ADGM court, Cheque Execution, REPO, Civil/Cases against bank)
• Track case progress, update system and trackers, and ensure timely filing
• Act as backup for team members during absences
• Monitor vendors (law firms) and liaise to meet agreed turnaround times
• Attend expert meetings, review commentaries and memos
• Maintain system records and legal flags for all allocated cases
• Handle escalations and requests related to collections through various channels
• Collaborate with Collection and Recovery teams for legal support or advisory
• Participate in mandatory training and adhere to company policies
