Specialist, Risk Management – First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB)

Full‑time position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, focusing on fraud investigations and risk oversight within the bank’s Risk Management function.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Law, Finance, Business or related field
• Minimum 2 years experience in fraud investigations (preferably in banking)
• Basic understanding of banking operations
• Working knowledge of law and criminal justice procedures
• Analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
• Good report writing, communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Conduct investigations into fraud, bribery, corruption, data breaches and other misconduct incidents
• Gather evidence, interview suspects and witnesses, evaluate findings, perform root‑cause analysis
• File regulatory incident reports and write detailed investigation reports
• Provide guidance and training to junior colleagues
• Monitor financial performance, report variances, and implement policies and procedures
• Collaborate with Internal Audit, IT, HR, Legal, Compliance
• Utilise data analysis and forensic tools; ensure timely filing of CBUAE STR or SAR reports
• Promote risk awareness culture across the organization
