Fletchers Solicitors is seeking a qualified Solicitor or Equivalent (Clinical Negligence Grade C) to join their dynamic Clinical Negligence team in Southport. This is a full-time, hybrid-working role focused on managing a diverse caseload of clinical negligence cases from inception through to trial.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Newly Qualified (NQ) up to 5 years PQE or equivalent experience working in Clinical Negligence.
- Strong commercial awareness within a legal environment.
- Excellent organizational, time management, communication, and drafting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, proclaim, and excel.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Running an individual clinical negligence caseload in a proactive commercial manner.
- Drafting legal documentation including Letters of Claim (LOC) and letters of instruction.
- Negotiating settlements, issuing, and serving proceedings as required.
- Supporting team members, mentoring junior staff, and assisting team leaders with financial and performance KPIs.
- Co-ordinating case progression with internal and external parties.
