Flexiple is hiring a Trademark Specialist to join the India brand protection and legal function of a global consumer brand client. The role involves managing a multi-category trademark portfolio, conducting clearance searches, and coordinating with external counsel on enforcement matters. Key Eligibility Criteria

• 3 to 7 years of experience in trademark prosecution and portfolio management (in-house or law firm).
• LLB degree with working knowledge of the Trademarks Act and Indian IP Office procedure.
• Ability to manage large, multi-category portfolios and prioritize deadlines.
• Strong written English for correspondence with examiners and counsel.
• Preferred: Exposure to Madrid Protocol filings, domain name disputes, and collaboration with marketing teams.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Conduct clearance searches for new product, sub-brand, or campaign names.
• Prepare and file trademark applications in India and via the Madrid Protocol.
• Track renewal deadlines, oppositions, and examination reports; maintain internal registers.
• Draft responses to examination reports and oppositions.
• Monitor for infringing use and coordinate takedown/cease-and-desist actions with outside counsel.
