G2 Legal, a high‑growth private equity firm in Brighton, is hiring an experienced corporate lawyer to join its in‑house legal team. The role offers exposure to the full private equity lifecycle, working closely with senior stakeholders and deal teams.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- UK‑qualified solicitor
- 4+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE)
- Background in M&A, with private equity or complex transaction exposure preferred
- Commercially minded, pragmatic, and confident working with non‑legal stakeholders
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Advising on buy‑side and sell‑side M&A transactions
- Private equity investments and exits
- Drafting and negotiating key documentation (SPAs, investment agreements, NDAs)
- Managing and coordinating due diligence processes
- Providing ongoing corporate and strategic advice to portfolio companies
