Godrej Industries Group is hiring a Manager - Legal (M&A) for its Corporate Legal Team based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The role involves managing transaction lifecycles, drafting and negotiating legal documentation for M&A and commercial transactions, conducting legal due diligence, and providing strategic legal counsel.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate or Post Graduate from an accredited law school (LLB / LLM).
• 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience in a law firm or in-house legal team of a large group company or MNC.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial, consumer, and contract laws.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Assisting in transaction lifecycle management, including managing external counsels and cross-functional interactions.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documentation for M&A projects and commercial transactions.
• Conducting legal due diligence and drafting policy documents and operating procedures.
• Advising on operational and business issues, contracts, and commercial laws.
• Updating stakeholders on legal developments, new laws, judicial precedents, and regulatory compliance.
