Grant Thornton UK is seeking a Senior Commercial Legal Counsel to join its Office of General Counsel (Contracts Team) in London, England. Key Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a qualified lawyer.
• Significant commercial contracting experience gained within a regulated professional services business.
• Extensive experience with legal and risk management issues faced by professional services businesses.
• Experience in supplier-side public sector contracting is advantageous.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts with key clients (including master services agreements and public-sector framework agreements), suppliers, subcontractors, and third parties.
• Lead relationships with key stakeholders across service lines and support functions.
• Work cross-functionally with Quality and Risk teams to address legal issues and emerging risks.
• Supervise, manage, and develop junior team members, acting as a subject matter expert and decision-maker.
• Leverage AI tools and innovative methods to augment legal advice delivery.
