Role Overview
Headway Partners is seeking a mid-level Land & Regulatory Lawyer to join their Regulatory and Investment advisory practice in Delhi. The role focuses on land and title due diligence, regulatory compliance, and authority-side liaison work across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: LL.B. from a recognised university.
- Experience: 4–7 years of post-qualification experience in real estate and land law.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in interpreting North Indian revenue records (jamabandis, khasra-khatauni, girdawari, fard).
- Expertise: Strong understanding of RERA, Transfer of Property Act, and local development authority regulations.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Conduct full chain-of-title verification and prepare Title Search Reports (TSR).
- Perform regulatory due diligence on zoning, environmental, and statutory clearances.
- Coordinate with revenue authorities, sub-registrar offices, and municipal bodies.
- Draft techno-legal DD reports, risk matrices, and transaction documentation.
