Associate Legal Counsel

Contextual Overview

HighRadius, a renowned provider of cloud-based Autonomous Software for the Office of the CFO, is seeking an experienced Associate Legal Counsel based in Hyderabad, Telangana, to lead the end-to-end contracting process for its global operations.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Law Graduate (LLB) degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional legal experience gained from a law firm or a multinational technology company.
• Demonstrated experience with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), IT infrastructure, professional services agreements, and personal data privacy agreements.
• Familiarity with cross-border transactions, Indian contract law, and international data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, DPF, EU, UK, USA, and India).
• Privacy certification (e.g., CIPP/E or CIPP/US) is considered a significant plus.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Manage end-to-end lifecycles for a high volume of global procurement contracts (US, UK, EU, India) meeting internal SLAs.
• Draft contract provisions from scratch and apply playbook guidance for SaaS, IT, hardware, and professional services agreements.
• Ensure global data privacy compliance by negotiating Data Processing Addenda (DPAs), Standard Contractual Clauses, and security exhibits.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate business and legal risks while advising internal stakeholders.
• Support stakeholders with vendor performance issues, dispute resolution, and termination letter drafting.
