Honeywell Technologies is hiring a full-time Sr Attorney-FCPA in India. The selected candidate will join a regional team of legal and compliance subject matter experts to translate global compliance expectations into practical guidance, manage anti-corruption risk assessments, oversee internal investigations, and direct third-party due diligence across the region.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Experience: At least 8 years of experience in anticorruption, antibribery, investigations, fraud, anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions, compliance, ethics, or a related legal field.
- Education: Juris Doctor, equivalent non-U.S. law degree, or comparable legal training is strongly preferred.
- Language: Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong familiarity with international anticorruption standards, specifically the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and the UK Bribery Act.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Lead regional anticorruption and fraud risk assessments and prioritize prevention, detection, and remediation activities.
- Advise senior business leaders on FCPA, UK Bribery Act, conflicts of interest, gifts, hospitality, charitable donations, and government interactions.
- Conduct and oversee third-party due diligence for high-risk partners (agents, distributors, consultants, suppliers).
- Manage and support internal investigations regarding potential corruption, policy violations, and related misconduct.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, Internal Audit, HR, and Procurement to implement corrective measures and control enhancements.
- Prepare and deliver risk-based compliance training programs for internal and external stakeholders.
