Senior Legal Counsel – Horizon Quantum

Horizon Quantum, a quantum computing software company headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel (Director level) to lead legal and compliance functions across its global operations.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 7 years PQE in related legal fields.
• At least 3 years in‑house role.
• Experience with US listed companies preferred.
• Expertise in international corporate law, cross‑border transactions, and global compliance.
• Strong knowledge of anti‑bribery regulations (FCPA, UK Bribery Act) and data privacy (GDPR, PDPA).
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across a global organization.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Provide business‑focused legal advice to executives on risks, disclosures, and regulatory changes.
• Draft and maintain corporate policies and oversee compliance programs.
• Manage litigation, arbitration, and regulatory disputes.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and licensing deals.
• Ensure legal health of international subsidiaries and compliance with local filings.
• Advise on international labour laws and workforce restructuring.
• Prepare board and committee materials.
• Lead internal audits, investigations, and compliance training.
