IBM is seeking a Senior Attorney to join its India and South Asia (ISA) legal team based in Bengaluru. The role involves providing comprehensive legal support to IBM’s Consulting and Technology business units, focusing on commercial contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and advisory work across various legal domains including privacy, cybersecurity, and intellectual property.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Must be qualified to practice law in India.
• Minimum of 9+ years of professional legal experience (in-house or law firm).
• Proven expertise in negotiating IT contracts for government and commercial entities.
• Familiarity with Indian government procurement policies and procedures.
• Strong commitment to integrity and ethical conduct.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Advise and negotiate commercial engagements and contracts with government and commercial clients.
• Provide legal counsel on regulatory compliance, contractual disputes, and litigation.
• Support internal functions including procurement, real estate, HR, and finance.
• Facilitate compliance with IBM’s internal policies and procedures.
• Manage legal matters autonomously with increasing independence.
