Responsibilities & Scope of Work

Partner with the product development team to recommend privacy-related features/controls (Privacy by Design) for new products including cloud-based solutions.
Review and respond to privacy-related sections in RFI/RFQ/MSAs from clients and collaborate on feasibility studies during the pre-contract sign-off stage.
Advise delivery teams regarding the implementation of privacy-related requirements.
Conduct employee awareness sessions on the lawful handling of personally identifiable information (PII).
Lead the data breach handling process to effectively address reported privacy gaps.
Manage processes related to personal data access requests from individuals.
Assess subcontracting/outsourcing of PII processing and recommend privacy controls including vendor contract clauses.
Liaison with external Privacy and Data Protection Counsel for expert views and audits, and identify internal data privacy initiatives.
