Jacobs is inviting applications for the role of Contracts Professional within its Global Contracting Center (GCC) based in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. The selected candidate will partner with the Contract Management Group, Legal, Sales, Business Operations, and Project Delivery teams to manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, serving as a trusted advisor on commercial and contractual matters.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Law Graduate/LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant post-qualification experience in contract review, drafting, and negotiation.
- Demonstrated experience supporting seller-side contracting for professional services, engineering, consulting, technology, construction, or infrastructure organizations.
- Preferred experience in reviewing and negotiating public sector customer-facing commercial agreements.
- Advanced understanding of contract law principles, risk allocation provisions, compliance frameworks, and commercial contracting practices.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Review, draft, redline, and negotiate client contracts, amendments, subcontract agreements, task orders, change requests, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and other commercial documents.
- Support RFP, RFQ, and tender reviews from a contractual and compliance perspective.
- Prepare contract summaries, representation & certification memos, risk assessments, and briefing notes for internal reviews and approvals.
- Identify contractual, legal, and commercial risks and propose solutions consistent with company policies.
- Assist Regional Legal Counsel with complex contractual issues and escalations.
- Work with contract lifecycle management platforms such as Icertis or SAP Ariba.
