Jurisiti Legal LLP, a Delhi-based litigation law firm, is seeking to engage an experienced Core Litigation Advocate in Chennai for an exclusive, long-term professional association to manage regional court proceedings and represent the firm's interests.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 5–6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in core litigation.
- LL.B. and LL.M. qualifications from Tier-1 law institutions.
- Substantial practical exposure to court proceedings, legal drafting, filing, legal research, and oral advocacy.
- Strong knowledge of substantive and procedural law, judicial precedents, and litigation practices.
- Knowledge of Tamil and English along with familiarity with local court procedures in Chennai is an added advantage.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Independently analyze disputes, identify legal strengths and weaknesses, and develop practical litigation strategies with a primary focus on Civil and Commercial Litigation.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft plaints, petitions, written statements, replies, applications, affidavits, and written submissions.
- Manage filing procedures, hearing preparation, and present effective oral arguments before appropriate courts and tribunals.
- Review court orders, track hearing dates, ensure compliance deadlines are met, and provide timely updates to the central team in Delhi.
Stipend, Compensation & Mode
Remuneration: Monthly remuneration, commensurate with experience and capabilities.
Mode: Exclusive, long-term professional association / Full-time role based in Chennai.
