Senior Manager – Indian Legal & Regulatory Affairs

Contextual Overview

Kites Engineering Solutions is inviting applications for the position of Senior Manager – Indian Legal & Regulatory Affairs based in Delhi, India. This is a high-visibility execution role within an established Legal & Compliance structure, focusing on commercial contracts, regulatory affairs, governance, and cross-border transactions.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: LL.B. / integrated Indian law degree or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Experience: 3–5 years of substantive Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
• Key Skills: Strong commercial drafting, legal research, and hands-on experience in corporate, contractual, or regulatory matters.
• Sector Preference: Experience in engineering, manufacturing, infrastructure, technology, energy, aerospace, or other regulated sectors is valuable.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, NDAs, MoUs, JV, IP, and technology-transfer agreements.
• Handling licensing, regulatory applications, compliance tracking, and government authority coordination.
• Managing corporate governance, statutory coordination, GST, customs, and export legal interfaces.
• Overseeing disputes, arbitration, mediation support, and external counsel management.
• Executing legal due diligence, investor documentation, and maintaining legal records.
• Traveling domestically and internationally for negotiations, regulatory affairs, and partner discussions as required.
