Contextual Overview

A leading Thames Valley law firm, through KMA Legal Recruitment, is seeking an experienced Corporate Immigration Solicitor to join their specialist team in Reading, England. The role involves working within a dedicated team of four specialists as part of a wider employment and immigration practice.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a UK qualified lawyer.
• Must possess between 1 to 3 years of experience in immigration law.
• Required to have a solid technical understanding of corporate immigration law.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Act as a point of contact for a range of clients on UK immigration matters.
• Provide advice to clients on the full range of UK immigration categories, particularly the sponsorship system and associated visa categories.
• Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the Immigration Rules, relevant legislation, and the UK immigration system.
• Act as a Level 1 User on the Sponsor Management System on behalf of clients and liaise with the Home Office.
• Advise clients on developing international recruitment strategies and conduct client site visits to deliver training and audits.
• Assist with knowledge management, draft precedents, and support business development activities with the Head of Immigration.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Compensation: Competitive salary with flexible working arrangements.

Mode: Full-time, On-site (Reading, UK).
