Legodesk, a leading debt recovery and legal automation platform for the BFSI sector, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their team in Bengaluru. This role sits at the intersection of legal practice and product development, focusing on automating workflows for SARFAESI, IBC, and DRT proceedings.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: LLB from a recognized institution.
• Registration: Must be enrolled with a State Bar Council.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in debt recovery, banking litigation, insolvency, or BFSI legal practice.
• Skills: Proficiency in SARFAESI, IBC, DRT/DRAT procedures, and NI Act Section 138.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Draft and standardize legal documents for SARFAESI, IBC/NCLT, and DRT proceedings.
• Develop template libraries and workflow logic for the Legodesk platform.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to automate legal workflows.
• Support enterprise clients (banks, NBFCs, ARCs) with platform usage and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
• Monitor legislative changes (RBI guidelines, DPDP Act, etc.) to ensure platform compliance.
