Associate Solicitor – Clinical Negligence (NQ-2PQE)

Leigh Day, a top 100 claimant‑only law firm, is hiring a newly qualified solicitor with 0–2 years post‑qualification (PQE) to join its Clinical Negligence team.

Key Eligibility

  • Newly qualified solicitor (0–2 PQE)
  • Direct experience in clinical negligence
  • Knowledge of medicine and clinical negligence law
  • Experience from initial advice to trial
  • Understanding of calculating losses in Schedule of Loss

Responsibilities

  • Manage own caseload across a broad range of clinical negligence matters
  • Work alongside experienced practitioners in a claimant practice
  • Handle cases including maternal health, birth injuries, brain injuries, orthopaedic injuries, delayed cancer diagnoses, GP negligence, child and adult fatal claims, radiological errors
  • Deal sensitively with clients and experts, provide solutions, manage difficult situations
  • Use IT packages (MS Word, Excel, Case Management Systems, Outlook)

Stipend & Benefits
