Contextual Overview

L.E.K. Consulting is a global management consulting firm seeking a Conflicts Analyst to join their Legal Team in Mumbai. This role is integral to the firm's global risk management and new business intake function, focusing on identifying and mitigating conflicts of interest to ensure ethical compliance during engagement acceptance.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Perform timely conflict checks for new business opportunities, proposals, and new hires.
• Analyze internal and external data (public records, company filings, news) to identify potential conflicts and reputational risks.
• Review and interpret Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and engagement letters for contractual restrictions.
• Manage the end-to-end new business intake process and maintain the firm's conflict management database.
• Conduct due diligence on corporate structures, including parent-subsidiary relationships and joint ventures.
• Communicate findings and provide actionable guidance to internal stakeholders and Partners.
