Senior Associate – Corporate Commercial & General Corporate

Lex Chambers, a full-service law firm based in New Delhi, is seeking a Senior Associate specializing in Corporate Commercial, Transactions, and General Corporate law. The firm advises businesses, investors, institutions, and individuals across corporate, commercial, and disputes work.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Experience: 4 to 6 years of corporate experience.
• Background: Prior experience at a law firm is essential.
• Skills: Sharp drafting, confident negotiation, solid grounding in corporate transactions and advisory, strong time management, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Run corporate and commercial mandates independently from first instructions to closing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and transaction documents.
• Handle M&A, joint ventures, private equity, and other corporate transactions including structuring, due diligence, documentation, and closing.
• Advise clients on corporate, governance, and regulatory matters.
• Lead negotiations with counterparties and their counsel.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, timelines, and deliverables.
• Guide junior team members on drafting and due diligence.

• Mode & Location: On-site, full-time in New Delhi, India (includes working on Saturdays when deadlines require).
