Mashreq is inviting applications for the full-time role of Manager Compliance, FCRA and Projects based in the United Arab Emirates. This mid-senior level position focuses on safeguarding the bank against financial penalties and regulatory actions linked to non-adherence with Financial Crime Controls (FCC) laws and regulations.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Mid-senior professional experience level within compliance or banking sectors.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Financial Crime Controls (FCC), AML/CFT regulations, Sanctions, and ABC frameworks.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Ensure all processes and controls required to comply with AML/CFT regulations are embedded in bank procedures.
• Assist in executing an effective FCRA program across the bank to mitigate risks of Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, and Proliferation Financing.
• Facilitate external regulatory examinations and internal audits while coordinating timely closure of audit findings.
• Monitor emerging money laundering trends and provide risk-based policy recommendations.
• Conduct investigations as directed by regulators and compliance units.
• Assist Head Office Compliance in formulating bank-wide policies, including AML policies and the Semi-Annual MLRO Report.
• Maintain excellent professional relationships with regulatory authorities and ensure timely regulatory reporting.
