Meesho is seeking a sharp, business-minded legal professional for the role of Manager - Legal to join its legal and secretarial team in Bengaluru. This high-impact role sits at the intersection of law, business, and strategy, supporting corporate governance, contracting, M&A, and strategic transactions.

Key Eligibility Criteria

Qualified LLB degree.
5 to 7 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE).
Prior experience in a reputed law firm and/or an in-house role with exposure to corporate advisory, transactions, and compliance.
Demonstrated experience in handling cross-border contracts and complex commercial negotiations.
Strong analytical and strategic mindset.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

Own and drive the end-to-end contracting lifecycle, including drafting agreements from scratch, reviewing and redlining counterparty templates, and leading negotiations.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements such as vendor, distribution, licensing, SaaS/technology, and strategic partnership contracts.
Provide proactive legal advisory on new business initiatives, product launches, and strategic projects while mitigating legal and regulatory risks.
Advise on corporate governance, regulatory, and compliance matters under the Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI regulations, and other applicable laws.
Support corporate transactions including M&A, joint ventures, investments, and corporate restructurings.
Partner with the HR team on employment-related matters, policies, and employment agreements.
Coordinate with external counsel for specialized matters, due diligence, and complex advisory.
