Munich Re is hiring a Treaty Wording Expert for its Life & Health team based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The role involves finalizing all contracts and agreements associated with the branch's lines of business, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Actuary.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Essential: A recognized law degree.
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience within the Financial Services or IT sector.
• Preferred: Prior experience in the Insurance or Reinsurance industry.
• Skills: Excellent time management, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills in English; familiarity with negotiation best practices.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Prepare contractual agreements using current Munich Re methods and standards.
• Collaborate with Actuaries, Underwriters, Analysts, and RI Account staff, alongside regional office experts.
• Ensure treaty terms are consistent with standard templates and drafted in legally binding language.
• Assist clients with contractual obligations, contract terminations, and provide legal inputs on specific underwriting and claims matters.
• Review existing treaty terms for compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.
• Proofread, edit, and fact-check legal documents for accuracy and consistency.
