Peppy, a Series B healthcare and wellbeing platform serving global clients including JP Morgan, Disney, and Meta, is seeking a Legal Counsel - Commercial to join its legal team. The role involves leading contract negotiations with enterprise clients, advising on commercial and privacy matters, and supporting business growth through efficient legal processes.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- UK qualified solicitor with at least 3 years PQE.
- Experience in a B2B SaaS in-house role or private practice with a focus on commercial contract drafting and negotiation.
- Demonstrable experience negotiating contracts with large enterprise in-house legal teams.
- Strong interest and experience in corporate, commercial, and privacy law.
- Tech-savvy with practical experience using AI tools in legal workflows.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Lead drafting and negotiation of enterprise customer contracts in collaboration with the sales team.
- Manage legal templates and support queries related to the online contracting platform.
- Review and negotiate supplier contracts and handle commercial ad hoc enquiries.
- Update end-user terms, privacy policies, and other relevant documentation.
- Advise Product, Practitioner, InfoSec, and Clinical Operations teams on risk and compliance.
- Provide employment law advice to the People team.
- Leverage AI tools to improve legal team processes and efficiency.
