Legal Counsel at PRAMAC

PRAMAC, a global leader in the production of generators and material handling equipment, is seeking a highly motivated Legal Counsel to provide business-oriented legal support for its Indian operations. The role involves collaborating with regional and global teams on commercial, corporate, and compliance matters.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: LL.B. degree and qualified to practice law in India.
• Experience: Approximately 5–8 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of Indian commercial and corporate law; excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Language: Fluency in English.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts.
• Advise on commercial, corporate, employment, and regulatory compliance under Indian law.
• Coordinate corporate governance and statutory compliance with external advisers.
• Manage disputes and interface with external counsel.
• Deliver legal training and promote a culture of ethical business conduct.
