PwC India is inviting applications for the role of Senior Associate / Consultant (Advisory Legal) within its Advisory line of service based in Gurugram, Haryana (with preferred locations in NCR or Mumbai). The role focuses on risk management, government request for proposal (RFP) review, contract management, and commercial contract negotiations.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Must have completed a 5-year integrated law course (LLB + LLM preferred) from a reputed law college in India, with preference given to National Law Institutes.
- Minimum 3 to 7 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE).
- In-depth understanding of contractual and corporate laws.
- Well-versed with government procurement regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent drafting, articulation, communication, and negotiating skills.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Review and highlight risks in government RFPs and guide business teams in drafting pre-bid queries.
- Review business proposals to be submitted to government clients and advise teams on legal risk mitigation strategies.
- Review, redlining, and drafting of commercial contracts from scratch in line with PwC standards.
- Conduct negotiations with clients on commercial contracts and legal terms and conditions.
- Advise business teams on the implications of deviations from standard PwC terms and help prepare mitigation plans.
