Contextual Overview

Qualcomm India Private Limited is hiring a Contracts Specialist to join their Legal Group in the Greater Hyderabad Area. This role focuses on the end-to-end lifecycle management of procurement contracts, including drafting, negotiation, and risk mitigation to support business objectives and protect intellectual property.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of relevant experience; OR
  • Associate's degree + 4 years of relevant experience; OR
  • High School diploma + 6 years of relevant experience.
• Field of Study: Communication, Business, Political Science, or related fields.
• Advanced Degrees: May be substituted for up to two years of work experience (Master’s = 1 year, Doctorate = 2 years).

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Draft, negotiate, and execute complex, high-impact supplier agreements.
• Collaborate with legal, sourcing, finance, and engineering teams to develop contract strategies.
• Manage contract management systems and drive process improvements to reduce cycle time.
• Analyze contractual risks (liability, confidentiality) and provide business-oriented recommendations.
