(QPWB), the largest woman and minority-owned law firm in the nation, is seeking a California-licensed Associate Attorney to join its General Liability Practice Group in Concord, CA. The role involves defending clients in general liability, commercial litigation, and employment matters from claims handling through trial and appeal.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Admitted to practice in California.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in General Liability defense, commercial litigation, and employment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, and communication skills.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Review and prepare summaries of medical records.
• Draft motions, attend hearings, and represent clients in court.
• Prepare clients for depositions and attend depositions.
• Draft initial, interim, pre-trial reports, and appellate documents.
• Respond to discovery requests and draft related motions.
• Take and defend depositions of fact and expert witnesses.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $140,000 - $200,000 USD per year.
