Contextual Overview
Revantage, a Blackstone Real Estate portfolio company, is hiring an AVP – Legal Counsel – APAC to provide legal, compliance, and operations support across its Asia Pacific business.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor of Law degree (Second Upper Class honours or above)
- Minimum 10 years of legal experience, including at least 2 years in a law firm or private practice
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Review and negotiate engagement letters, service agreements, NDAs, and other commercial contracts.
- Review corporate secretarial and funding documents of investment structures.
- Coordinate Singapore investment committee and board meetings, liaise with external counsel.
- Coordinate declarations for Blackstone sponsor/promoter group in REITs or IPOs.
- Monitor and advise on governance protocols for JV transactions.
- Provide legal advice on tax, finance/accounting, employment, corporate and commercial matters.
- Arrange compliance declarations and monitor MNPI compliance controls.
- Maintain trackers, SOPs, and support legal operations projects.
