RSD Bajaj Global Law Firm, an emerging full-service global law firm, is seeking a Senior Associate to join its core team in Gurugram. The role involves working directly with the Founding Managing Partners on high-value mandates for new economy companies, including unicorn startups and growth-stage firms.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Experience: 2-3 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in General Corporate, Venture Capital, or Private Equity transactions.
- Education: Law degree (3-year or 5-year LLB) with a valid Certificate of Practice issued by the Bar Council of India.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in drafting and negotiating transaction documents (SHA, SSA, SPA, JV Agreements, Term Sheets).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Sound understanding of the Companies Act 2013, FEMA, RBI regulations, and SEBI rules.
- Bonus: Knowledge of Data Privacy and Intellectual Property laws is considered an advantage.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Lead and manage end-to-end VC/PE transactions, including structuring, documentation, and closure.
- Draft and negotiate key commercial agreements (MOUs, NDAs, commercial contracts).
- Provide general corporate advisory and legal opinions on regulatory compliance.
- Mentor junior associates and contribute to the growth of the firm's corporate practice.
