Legal Counsel (F/M) – SAP, Levallois‑Perret, France
Join SAP’s French Legal team as a Legal Counsel to support commercial, technology, regulatory and compliance matters across cloud, AI, digital sovereignty, data protection and more.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Master 2 degree in Business Law, Digital Law, IP/IT Law or equivalent.
- 2‑5 years of relevant legal experience (in‑house, private practice, public sector or regulatory).
- Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills in French and English.
- Experience with commercial contracts and technology‑related legal matters.
- Working knowledge of data protection, privacy, compliance and digital regulation.
- Interest in cloud technologies, AI and digital sovereignty.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial and technology agreements (SaaS, cloud, AI, licensing, EULAs, IT services, partner contracts).
- Support complex transactions and strategic initiatives with senior legal colleagues.
- Advise on software licensing, IP, AI‑related issues and sovereign cloud offerings.
- Provide pragmatic, risk‑calibrated legal guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor EU AI Act, NIS2, DSA, DMA and other digital regulations.
- Collaborate across Legal, Compliance, Sales, Product, Security and other functions.
