Head of Contracts at Shrofile

Shrofile is seeking a Senior Contracting Leader (Director Level) to own and strengthen contract governance, standards, and risk management for high-value and critical contracts across multiple business units. The role involves overseeing contract lifecycle governance, performance reviews, and compliance monitoring.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Law graduate (LLB) from a reputed institution. LLM, PG Diploma in Business Law, or Contract Management certification is a plus.
• Experience: 12–25 years of experience in contracts, legal, or commercial roles.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) systems and digital contracting tools.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Contract Governance: Manage business-wide contracting standards, maintain centralized clause libraries, and develop standard contract templates.
• Risk Management: Define criteria for critical contracts, review risk mitigation plans, and maintain pre-contract risk registers.
• Regulatory Compliance: Embed applicable laws and regulations into templates and workflows; coordinate reviews with Legal, Tax, and Compliance teams.
• Lifecycle Governance: Ensure seamless handover of executed contracts, monitor compliance with obligations, and oversee management of variations, claims, and disputes.
• Training: Design and deliver training programs on contracting standards and risk frameworks.
