Societe Generale Securities India is seeking an experienced professional for the position of Associate (AVP) – Compliance in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region to manage regulatory and compliance risks within the legal framework and SEBI/exchange guidelines.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in any field (LLB, B.A, or B.Com)
- Company Secretary Degree (Associate member) - Mandatory
- NISM III A certificate - Preferred
- Minimum 8 years of overall work experience with 4-7 years of relevant experience in a compliance function, preferably within broking firms
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Ensure timely filing of all regulatory reports with exchanges, SEBI, and MCA.
- Review daily circulars or guidelines issued by SEBI, Exchanges, CCP, or MCA and coordinate completions.
- Assist the Head of Compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory updates.
- Coordinate with other departments during regulatory inspections or internal audits.
- Prepare secretarial records under Company Law, organize Board/Committee meetings, and coordinate with external retainers.
- Perform surveillance checks, financial crime checks, and staff training.
