Contextual Overview

Solvecube Pte. Ltd. is seeking a seasoned legal professional for the position of Head of Legal. This role is based in Gurgaon/Manesar and involves providing strategic legal counsel to the Managing Director and Board of Directors of a Tier-1 public limited automotive component manufacturing company.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Education: LLB / BL degree from a recognized university (LLM or specialized certification in Corporate/Commercial Law is an advantage).
• Experience: 10–15 years of total experience in legal functions.
• Leadership: Minimum 3+ years in a leadership role (Head of Legal, Legal Counsel, or similar) within a listed company or large organization.
• Sector Preference: Prior experience in manufacturing, automotive, or engineering sectors is highly preferred.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Provide strategic legal advice on business matters, commercial transactions, IP protection, and regulatory issues.
• Lead and manage litigation strategy across civil, criminal, arbitration, labour, and regulatory forums.
• Draft, review, and negotiate high-value commercial contracts, vendor agreements, and technology licensing agreements.
• Own the end-to-end contract lifecycle and ensure protection of company interests and risk exposure.

Stipend & Compensation

Annual Base Pay: ₹3,000,000 – ₹4,000,000 per annum (subject to skills and experience).
