Sun Pharma is hiring a Manager - EM Legal for its Legal & Intellectual Property business unit located at Sun House, Mumbai. The role involves managing legal operations, business development support, and commercial contracting for Emerging Markets.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: LLB; LLM is preferable.
• Experience: 6-10 years of post-qualification experience in multinational corporations or reputed law firms. Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an added advantage.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Business Development Support: Lead negotiations for BD-led contracts, MOUs, LOIs, project bids, tenders, and partnership agreements; provide legal structuring for commercial models, JV arrangements, and investment proposals.
• Contracting & Commercial Advisory: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including distribution, supply, service, licensing, technology, and clinical study agreements.
• Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure adherence to regional laws, anti-corruption standards, and internal governance processes across Emerging Markets.
• Risk Management & Dispute Handling: Identify legal risks, propose mitigation strategies, handle pre-litigation matters, and manage external counsel.
• Stakeholder & Policy Management: Serve as key legal advisor to business leaders, develop internal policies, and conduct legal compliance training sessions.
